Report – Bournemouth Join Inter Milan In Race To Sign Sough-After Sassuolo Defender

Inter Milan could face competition from Premier League side Bournemouth in their pursuit of Sassuolo star Tarik Muharemovic.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Cherries have joined the Nerazzurri in the race to sign the Bosnian defender.

Tarik Muharemovic has established himself as one of the most talented center-backs in Serie A and Europe.

Indeed, the former Juventus starlet has flourished at the Mapei Stadium this season.

Only yesterday, he scored an all-important equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Bologna.

Meanwhile, numerous clubs have taken note of his progress in Emilia-Romagna.

Muharemovic has caught Beppe Marotta’s eye after an impressive start to the season.

However, Inter are hesitant to open talks with Sassuolo due to Juventus’ sell-on clause.

Indeed, the Turin giants stand to receive 50% of any future transfer fee, making Inter cautious about pursuing the deal.

On the other hand, Bournemouth could spoil Inter’s plans.

Former Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is a big-time admirer of Muharemovic and wants to take him to the Vitality Stadium.
