Report claims that 24-year-old Tottenham player will join a new club next month

Hotspur defender Ryan Sessegnon is all set to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has not been able to hold down a regular starting berth at the North London club and he needs to leave in order to play regularly. His contract will expire soon and a report from Football Insider claims that the 24-year-old will join a new club next month.

Tottenham have decided not to renew his deal and the player will move on in search of better opportunities. He was highly rated when he joined the club from Fulham, but he has failed to hold down a regular starting spot, owing to consistent injury problems.

It will be interesting to see if Sessegnon can get over his injury problems and get his career back on track. He is quite young and he has plenty of time to fulfil his potential. The versatile defender is capable of operating as a left-back as well as a left-sided winger.

He could prove to be a quality acquisition for most clubs, especially on a free transfer. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. He needs to join a club where he will play regularly. It remains to be seen whether any Premier League club is willing to provide him with the opportunity in the coming weeks.

Tottenham are already well stocked in the left-back department with Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies at the club. It is no surprise that they have decided to let the player move on as a free agent in the summer.
