Ademola Lookman will soon meet with Atalanta president Antonio Percassi to try to accelerate his transfer to Inter Milan.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, this crunch meeting could take place in the coming days.

Nailed to the treatment table, Ademola Lookman is still recovering from injury.

However, he should regain full fitness by the end of the month.

Therefore, talks between the clubs are on hold, with Inter aiming to intensify them after the Nigerian’s recovery.

Lookman is Inter’s highest market priority, yet his €50 million price tag remains a stumbling block.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are unable to improve their initial €40m offer without first generating funds through player sales.

Lookman looks willing to oblige as he prepares for a face-to-face meeting with Percassi to force his exit.

Nonetheless, Inter may need to throw a few more million into the mix to sweeten the deal.

The sale of Mehdi Taremi could help the San Siro club collect the money.
