Report – Fiorentina Set Sights On €12M Rated Inter Milan Center-Forward

Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito has reportedly become the subject of interest from fellow Serie A rivals Fiorentina.

Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Stefano Pioli’s men are lining up a summer bid for the 22-year-old.

Fiorentina’s interest in the ex-Empoli loanee stems from the uncertain future of Albert Gudmundsson.

Indeed, the Icelandic forward could depart Serie A to join Everton, who seem eager to take him to Liverpool.

Therefore, the Tuscan giants are scouring the market for a new frontman.

In addition to Gudmundsson, Fiorentina could lose Moise Kean after the Italian’s stellar maiden season at Artemio Franchi.

Sebastiano isn’t the only player on the Florence outfit’s shortlist.

Indeed, they’ve already shortlisted his brother Francesco Pio.

However, Inter are reluctant to let the teenage sensation leave the San Siro permanently.

On the other hand, they’re willing to offload Sebastiano, having slapped a €12 million price tag on his shoulders.

Esposito would probably fancy a move to Florence, knowing he won’t have a prominent role under Cristian Chivu.
