Report: ‘First contacts’ made as Tottenham want ‘gifted’ player to lead their project

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo this summer.

According to a report from Eldesmarque, they have been in contact with Real Madrid to seek permission to speak to the player. ‘First contacts’ have been initiated, and they have been informed that the player will cost €90 million. In addition to that, the Brazilian will demand the premium wages of €10 million per season as well.

The report claims that Tottenham will need to sell first to afford someone like him. It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal across the line. The 24-year-old is a world-class talent with a bright future, and he could be a key player for Tottenham. He has been labelled as a ‘gifted’ player in the past.

Tottenham want Rodrygo to be the star of their project

The North London outfit wants him to become the centrepiece of their project. They are looking to build a formidable squad capable of fighting for trophies regularly. There is no doubt that the South American is capable of leading the Tottenham attack.

He will add goals and creativity to the site. He is also versatile enough to operate in multiple roles.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be exciting for the player. He is not an indispensable asset for the Spanish club anymore, and he needs to play regularly. With the World Cup coming up next year, the move to Tottenham could be ideal.
