Report – Genoa In Pole Position To Sign Inter Milan & Argentina Youngster On Loan

Inter Milan starlet Valentin Carboni could be on his way to joining Genoa on a season-long loan in the coming weeks.

Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Griffins have set their sights on the 20-year-old forward.

Despite Inter’s early FIFA Club World Cup elimination, Valentin Carboni can be proud of his form in North America.

In addition to netting a late winner against Urawa Reds, he offered a lively performance against Fluminense last night.

However, it could be his last appearance for Inter in 2025.

Patrick Vieira’s men are in the market for attacking reinforcements after a season marred by goalscoring issues.

Therefore, Carboni has emerged as a potential solution for Genoa’s scoring crisis.

Yet, Inter will have the final say.

While they’ve decided not to offload Francesco Pio Esposito, Carboni could still depart San Siro.

Indeed, the Argentine needs regular first-team action to regain form after an injury-hit season.

As such, a loan move could benefit his development, with Genoa ready to provide an opportunity.
