Inter Milan are keen to sign Olympique Marseille winger Luis Henrique before the summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italians have set a timetable for the Brazilian’s long-awaited arrival.
Luis Henrique has already agreed to join the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.
However, negotiations with Marseille have progressed slowly.
Indeed, Les Olympiens have slapped a €30 million price tag on their in-demand star and are sticking to their guns.
Petar Sucic will complete his transfer from Dinamo Zagreb in early June.
Therefore, he will be at Simone Inzaghi’s disposal for the summer tournament, which will start in mid-June.
Meanwhile, the defending Serie A champions hope to include Henrique in their Club World Cup squad.
As such, they’ll soon intensify talks with Marseille.
A €25m bid is already on the table, yet it may take some persuasion from Beppe Marotta’s part to get the deal over the line.
Nonetheless, it feels like Henrique’s arrival is only a matter of time.
