Inter Milan are closing in on the signing of teenage Udinese wingback Mattia Marello.

This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the 17-year-old will play for the Nerazzurri’s Under-20 side starting next season.

Inter Milan have been active on the transfer market this summer.

The Nerazzurri have made several high profile signings. They have brought in the likes of Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny.

Meanwhile, Inter are also reportedly pushing to sign Atalanta talisman Ademola Lookman.

However, the Nerazzurri are also completing some deals for younger players under the radar.

Inter Close In On Signing Udinese Wingback Mattia Marello

According to FCInterNews, one such signing will be Udinese wingback Matteo Marello.

The outlet anticipate that the deal is right on the verge of completion. Therefore, Marello should join Inter officially in the next few days.

FCInterNews report that, at seventeen years of age, Marello will not play for Inter’s newly-formed Under-23 team right away.

Rather, the Nerazzurri will sign the teenager to their youth academy.

Therefore, reports FCIN, Marello will start playing for Inter’s Under-20 team next season.
