Report – Inter Milan Consider Offering Cash + Albania EURO 2024 Star To Atalanta For Brazil Ace

Inter Milan could offer Kristjan Asllani in a player-plus-cash swap deal to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson.

Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could use the Albanian star as a makeweight in a deal to land the Brazil international.

Ederson has attracted Inter’s interest amid talks Hakan Calhanoglu could join Galatasaray.

However, Atalanta’s substantial €70 million asking price threatens to undermine Inter’s pursuit.

Therefore, Beppe Marotta and his associates have come up with a shrewd plan.

While Atalanta seem determined to hold out for their initial request, Inter’s complex proposal could change their minds.

Ederson’s name features Marotta’s wishlist close to the top, hence the club’s willingness to sacrifice a promising asset like Asllani.

Meanwhile, Asllani could fall victim to Inter’s need for a world-class midfielder.

Despite faring decently in Calhanoglu’s absence, the former Empoli midfielder has never gained management’s trust.

However, Atalanta will have the final say, and it’s hard to tell whether they’d accept any counterparts.
