Report – Inter Milan Considering Shock Move For Bayern Munich & France Star

Inter Milan are reportedly considering a shock move for Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano to strengthen in defense.

This according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. They report that the Frenchman is not planning to extend his contract with Bayern, which expires next summer.

Inter Milan are still thinking about signing a defender before the transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have missed out on one big target in the form of Koni De Winter. The Belgian has joined AC Milan.

Meanwhile, Parma’s Giovanni Leoni will join Liverpool.

However, there are other options for Inter to consider.

And particularly if Inter were to sell Benjamin Pavard, they will certainly sign a replacement. The former Bayern Munich defender is a target for Galatasaray.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter have identified a particularly big name player as a potential replacement for Pavard.

And the Nerazzurri are sensing an opportunity to replace a player formerly of Bayern with one who currently plies his trade in Bavaria.

According to TMW, Inter are eyeing up a move for defender Dayot Upamecano.

The 26-year-old is under contract with Bayern until the end of next June. And he is not planning to extend his contract.

Therefore, this summer could be Bayern’s last big chance to cash in on Upamecano.

For this reason, TMW report, Inter are thinking of a move to sign the Frenchman.
