Report – Inter Milan Convinced Of Signing Nigeria Forward As Atalanta Identify Replacement In Ligue 1

Inter Milan are reportedly growing increasingly confident of securing the services of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews , Ivan Juric’s men have already found a replacement for the Nigerian in Ligue 1.

The report claims that Atalanta have identified Olympique Marseille striker Jonathan Rowe as a potential target.

Indeed, La Dea’s interest in the former Norwich City star confirms they’re preparing for life after Ademola Lookman.

The presidents of Atalanta and Inter will soon hold a crunch meeting over Lookman’s future.

After seeing their €40 million offer fall short of La Dea’s demands, the Nerazzurri will table an improved bid.

Indeed, Beppe Marotta is willing to increase the initial offer by €3 million to finalize the deal.

Meanwhile, Atalanta cannot realistically hope to get €50m.

Though they’ve been unwilling to budge on their valuation, Lookman’s desire to join Inter is a game-changer.

Therefore, they’ve already set their sights on Rowe to fill the impending gap.
