Report – Inter Milan Expect Atalanta To Respond To Their Final Offer For Nigeria Star In Next Few Days

Inter Milan submitted their final offer for Ademola Lookman this morning and are still waiting for a response from Atalanta.

According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri expect La Dea’s reply to arrive in the coming days.

Beppe Marotta met Atalanta president Luca Percassi during a crucial meeting over Lookman’s future earlier today.

Indeed, he presented Percassi with Inter’s final bid for the 27-year-old worth €45 million, including bonuses.

Despite bridging the gap on Atalanta’s €50 million asking price, Inter’s latest proposal fell short.

Therefore, the ex-Europa League winners will take time to evaluate the situation.

Part of the reason is that they still hope to convince Ademola Lookman to stay at the Gewiss Stadium.

Meanwhile, the player has made up his mind. He wants to join Inter at all costs.

Moreover, Inter are reluctant to let Atalanta drag them into protracted talks.

Therefore, they expect to get the response within the next 48 hours.

In any case, it shouldn’t take more than three days to understand Atalanta’s decision.
