Inter Milan have not given up on their pursuit of Ademola Lookman but still consider Antonio Nusa a viable alternative.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, RB Leipzig could potentially hinder Inter’s pursuit of the USMNT forward.

For now, Inter’s focus remains on Ademola Lookman.

Talks with Atalanta have reached an impasse, but the player’s desire to join the Nerazzurri could unlock the deal.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu’s men are making contingency plans.

Atalanta have shown zero interest in Lookman’s futile attempt to force his transfer to San Siro.

Indeed, they’ve been holding out for their €50 million asking price.

However, the Serie A runners-up remain hopeful of finding an agreement toward the end of the summer.

On the other hand, they’re reassessing their options, with Nusa emerging as a genuine target.

Yet, Leipzig could throw a spanner in the works by slapping a prohibitive price tag on the 20-year-old.
