Report – Inter Milan Increasingly Confident Of Signing Atalanta Talisman

Inter Milan are reportedly growing optimistic about their chances of signing Ademola Lookman from Atalanta in the coming days.

According to FCInter1908, Inter’s confidence is not unfounded.

During his latest interview, La Dea president Luca Percassi confirmed what everyone had already suspected.

Indeed, he admitted that Ademola Lookman had requested a transfer, bolstering Inter’s quest to land the Nigerian.

However, the Serie A runners-up are still waiting for Atalanta’s response to their official bid.

Inter presented Atalanta with a written offer yesterday.

Beppe Marotta and his associates pieced together a substantial €45 million bid and put it on paper.

Now, it’s up to Atalanta to decide. However, their backs are against the wall, with Lookman eager to secure a transfer to San Siro.

Atalanta’s efforts to persuade the 27-year-old to stay stem from their desire to maintain a strong public image.

Indeed, they can ill-afford to sanction two high-profile departures after Mateo Retegui’s transfer to Al-Qadsiah.

However, that scenario looks inevitable at this point.
