Inter Milan are on the verge of making an increased offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri will tack €3 million plus €2 million in add-ons onto their bid.

Inter Milan have made Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman their priority target.

The Nerazzurri made an offer of €40 million for the Nigerian earlier this month. However, Atalanta rejected this initial bid – giving Inter a counteroffer of €50 million.

However, that has not deterred Inter. Far from it – they are aiming to return with another offer very soon.

Inter On The Verge Of New Bid For Atalanta Forward Ademola Lookman

The Corriere della Sera report that Inter owners Oaktree Capital have authorized another, higher offer for Lookman.

The Nerazzurri owners have given the green light to a bid of €43 million, plus €2 million in add-ons.

Therefore, Inter are essentially ready to split the difference with their first offer and Atalanta’s €50 million valuation.

The Corriere della Sera confirm recent reports that Inter will lodge this new bid this week. Likely within the first day or two of the week.

Therefore, Inter are clearly pushing to get a deal over the line quickly.
