Olympique Marseille winger Luis Henrique is reportedly close to joining reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan.

Per Sky Sport journalist Matteo Barzaghi via FCInter1908, the clubs are on the cusp of striking a definite agreement.

Luis Henrique has already agreed to sign a multi-year contract at Stadio San Siro.

However, Simone Inzaghi’s men have struggled to convince Marseille to accept their €25 million bid, including add-ons.

Indeed, the French giants continue to insist on their €30m asking price.

Inter Milan & Marseille Set to Complete Luis Henrique Deal

Inter have recently bridged the gap and could soon finalize the agreement.

Per the report, only €2m stands between the Italians’ latest proposal and Marseille’s demands.

Therefore, negotiations are proceeding with optimism.

More importantly, this means Inter will beat Juventus to Hernique’s signature.

Indeed, the Turin heavyweights have tried to hijack the Brazilian’s transfer to San Siro at the 11th hour.

Furthermore, Bayern Munich and several Premier League clubs have been in the picture.

However, it’s only a matter of time before Henrique becomes a new Inter player.

Inzaghi hopes to have the 23-year-old at his disposal for the summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
