Report – Inter Milan Plot Double Summer Swoop For Club Brugge & Sassuolo Starlets

Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up summer moves for Aleksandar Stankovic and Tarik Muharemovic.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could also sign another ‘big name’ at the end of the season.

It promises to be a busy summer for the Nerazzurri.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu is determined to bolster his midfield options, particularly amid Davide Frattesi’s uncertain future.

Therefore, Inter are looking to activate a buyback clause in their agreement with Club Brugge for Aleksandar Stankovic.

It will take €24 million to bring the skilled midfielder back to San Siro.

Several senior defenders are likely to sever ties with the Nerazzurri at the end of the current campaign.

Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, and Stefan de Vrij have all entered the final six months of their contracts.

Furthermore, the Serie A leaders are reluctant to offer them new deals.

As a result, Beppe Marotta will have to reinforce Chivu’s backline, with Tarik Muharemovic emerging as Inter’s top target.

However, the Sassuolo center-back remains the subject of interest from Juventus.
