Report – Inter Milan Prepare Major Squad Overhaul After Lautaro Martinez Outburst – Lazio Star No Longer A Target

Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella is no longer a target for Inter Milan as Cristian Chivu’s men prepare for a massive squad overhaul.

Per Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, several first-team stars could soon cut ties with the Nerazzurri.

Lautaro Martinez’s outburst after Inter’s FIFA Club World Cup exit threatens to reshape Chivu’s squad.

Indeed, Hakan Calhanoglu may not be the only high-profile departure.

Further changes look inevitable now that El Toro’s statement has polarised the dressing room.

Nicolo Rovella No Longer on Inter Milan List of Targets

In addition to Calhanoglu, Davide Frattesi could bid farewell to Inter after receiving an offer from Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, Marcus Thuram didn’t take Lautaro’s statement well and may consider leaving San Siro.

The Frenchman has a substantial €85 million release clause.

Furthermore, Denzel Dumfries’ €30m exit clause makes him a genuine candidate to leave.

On the other hand, Inter must pay attention to the incoming front.

Atalanta’s Ederson is a dream target, but the Brazilian costs a fortune, with La Dea setting a prohibitive €50m asking price.

As for Nicolo Rovella, he’s no longer an option for Inter after Lazio took him off the market to please Maurizio Sarri.

Elsewhere, Mehdi Taremi and Yann Bisseck seem closer to departing San Siro than staying put.
