Inter Milan will prioritize big signings in midfield and defense after completing a deal for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

This morning, Inter Milan officially announced the signing of striker Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma.

The Frenchman is the Nerazzurri’s third signing of the transfer window. They had already completed deals for Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique.

However, Inter are far from finished in the transfer market.

Inter Prioritize Midfield & Defense After Ange-Yoan Bonny Signing

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter have two main priority areas in the squad now.

Firstly, the Nerazzurri will aim to sign a central midfield. The situations of Hakan Calhanoglu, Davide Frattesi, and Kristjan Asllani are up in the air, so there will almost certainly be a big arrival in that part of the pitch.

Meanwhile, the Corriere note, Inter are also gearing up to make a signing in defense.

The likes of Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij are only getting older. And Yann Bisseck is also linked with an exit.

Therefore, Inter are turning their attention to the backline, where Parma’s Giovanni Leoni is the priority.
