Inter Milan talisman Lautaro Martinez is working around the clock to put himself back at Simone Inzaghi’s disposal as soon as possible.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, El Toro will skip next weekend’s home clash against top-five hopefuls Lazio.
Lautaro Martinez had to stay on the sidelines in Inter’s 2-0 win at Torino last Sunday due to injury.
Indeed, the 27-year-old forced himself beyond limits to help the Nerazzurri beat Barcelona in Europe.
His contribution was immense as Inzaghi’s side narrowly edged the Catalan powerhouse in the Champions League semi-finals.

Playing through pain took its toll on the Argentina international.
Therefore, Simone Inzaghi had to leave him out of his squad last weekend and will likely have to do so again on Sunday.
In all likelihood, Lautaro will watch the game against Lazio from the stands.
However, there’s hope he could rejoin the squad for the final-round clash against Como.
Otherwise, he should feature against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 31.
