Luis Henrique is on the verge of joining Inter Milan from Marseille despite Juventus’ late attempt to hijack the deal.

Per Sport.fr via FCInterNews, Nottingham Forest and the Turin giants have made last-ditch efforts to land the Brazilian.

However, Luis Henrique has already agreed to sign a multi-year contract at San Siro.

Furthermore, the French giants have finally found common ground with Inter after refusing several proposals.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri will splash out slightly over €25 million to get the deal over the line.

Inter Milan Set to Announce Luis Henrique Arrival Soon

Simone Inzaghi hopes to have the 23-year-old at his disposal for the FIFA Club World Cup.

With the tournament taking place in mid-June, Inter are in a hurry to complete the transfer as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Juventus and Forest have tried to spoil their plans.

However, Henrique has refused both approaches as he aims to sign for the Nerazzurri in the coming weeks or days.

He should be Denzel Dumfries’ deputy on the right wing despite his more offensive role at the Stade Velodrome.
