Report – Inter Milan Still In The Hunt For Genoa & Denmark Star After Kone Pursuit Goes Nowhere

Inter Milan are still in the hunt to sign Genoa defender Morten Frendrup after their pursuit of Roma’s Manu Kone came to nothing.

This according to today’s print edition of Ligurian newspaper Il Secolo XIX, via FCInterNews. They report that Genoa will target Hans Nicolussi Caviglia if Frendup leaves.

Inter Milan are reportedly keen to sign a midfielder before the summer transfer window closes.

The Nerazzurri are targeting a player with significant physicality to bolster their midfield ranks.

This would be to facilitate the transition to a 3-4-2-1 formation under Cristian Chivu.

According to Il Secolo XIX, Frendrup is very much on the radar of Inter, still.

The Nerazzurri had made an offer for Roma midfielder Manu Kone. However, the Giallorossi rebuffed this interest.

The Grifone are targeting Venezia midfielder Hans Nicolossi Caviglia as a replacement for the 24-year-old Danish international in the event that they lose him this summer.
