Inter Milan will save significantly on the wages and amortization of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic following their departures this summer.

Italian outlet Calcio e Finanza report that the total savings for the Nerazzurri will be around €25 million.

Inter Milan will go into next season with a couple players missing from last season’s attack.

Argentine international forward Joaquin Correa has already left the Nerazzurri. He officially signed for Brazilian club Botafogo, who were eliminated from the Club World Cup over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic’s contract with the Nerazzurri runs out at the end of the month. Therefore, he will no longer be an Inter player from tomorrow on.

Inter To Save €25M In Wages & Amortization As Joaquin Correa & Marko Arnautovic Depart

According to Calcio e Finanza, Inter will save significantly by offloading both Correa and Arnautovic.

In the case of former Lazio and Sevilla forward Correa, the 30-year-old had cost Inter €14.9 million last season between gross wages and amortization.

Meanwhile, for Marko Arnautovic, that number was €9.7 million.

Therefore, between the two of them, Correa and Arnautovic had cost Inter just under €25 million.

That certainly constitutes a significant savings for the upcoming campaign for the Nerazzurri.
