Inter Milan will reportedly be without Hakan Calhanoglu for the rest of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup due to a calf problem.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Turkey international’s recovery has suffered another setback.

Hakan Calhanoglu jetted off to the United States with the rest of the squad almost a fortnight ago.

Yet, he had to miss all three group-stage fixtures after sustaining a calf injury during the Champions League final.

Despite his month-long absence, Calhanoglu had hoped to regain full fitness for the knockout stages.

However, Cristian Chivu will likely be without the 31-year-old for the rest of the tournament.

Indeed, the new Inter boss may never have a chance to test Calhanoglu on the pitch.

Rumors of his transfer to Galatasaray are gaining momentum. Therefore, the Munich final could prove his last game in the Nerazzurri shirt.

Meanwhile, Inter may have found a new midfield anchor in Petar Sucic, who impressed off the bench last night.

The Croatian starlet picked up an assist in a 2-0 win over River Plate as Inter sealed the top spot in Group E.
