Report – Inter Milan Unfazed By Napoli Attempt To Hijack Their Pursuit Of Atalanta Talisman

Inter Milan are unfazed by Napoli trying to hijack their move for Ademola Lookman, remaining confident as talks with Atalanta continue.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will test Atalanta’s resolve with an improved offer rather soon.

Despite Inter’s ongoing effort to sign Ademola Lookman , Napoli are trying to change the player’s mind.

Indeed, Antonio Conte’s men have outmatched Inter’s contract proposal, offering the Nigerian around €5 million net per season.

However, Lookman rejected Partenopei’s advances as he aims to join the San Siro club.

Inter Milan Not Troubled by Napoli Interest in Ademola Lookman

Inter’s opening bid for Lookman encountered firm resistance from Atalanta.

Although La Dea are aware of Lookman’s wish, they are only willing to negotiate an immediate sale.

On the other hand, Inter would ideally sign the 27-year-old on loan with a mandatory buyout option.

That’s been the cause of friction so far.

However, Cristian Chivu remains optimistic as Inter have Lookman’s go-ahead.

Atalanta’s €50m asking price is a stumbling block, but it’s not unattainable, especially with a few player sales.

Indeed, Mehdi Taremi and Kristjan Asllani’s departures should bolster Inter’s finances.
