Inter Milan will only move for Nico Paz this summer in the event that Davide Frattesi leaves the club.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInter1908.
It is certainly no secret that Inter Milan are extremely keen to sign midfielder Nico Paz.
The Argentine’s explosion in form with Como this past season has long marked him out as a target for the Nerazzurri.
Paz has played as an attacking midfielder for Como. Reports suggest that Inter see the 19-year-old as more of a central player rather than an attacking one.
However, it is also not clear how the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach would necessarily change this assessment.
In the meantime, Inter have completed a deal to sign Petar Sucic. That has reinforced the squad in central areas.
However, reports the Gazzetta, Inter could still lose Davide Frattesi this summer. The arrival of Chivu as coach may not have changed the Italian international’s fate.
And in the event that Frattesi does leave, Inter could move to sign Nico Paz for the midfield.
However, if Frattesi were to stay, then Inter would not likely move for Paz.
