Report – Inter Milan Will Turn To Juventus Winger If Pursuit Of Atalanta Ace Falls Through

Inter Milan will reportedly intensify talks with Juventus over Nico Gonzalez if they fail to sign Ademola Lookman.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInter1908, the Argentine is the only alternative target for the Nerazzurri.

Negotiations with Atalanta are not going to plan.

Indeed, La Dea’s €50 million asking price has proved a stumbling block despite the player’s desire to join Inter.

Meanwhile, the Serie A runners-up will not offer more than €43 million for the 27-year-old.

Therefore, the deal is in jeopardy.

Inter Milan to Target Nicolas Gonzalez if Ademola Lookman Fails to Come

Despite continuing to push forward with their efforts to sign Ademola Lookman, Inter need a contingency plan.

As such, they’ve set their sights on Nico Gonzalez, who flopped in his first season at the Allianz Stadium.

Inter and Atalanta will try to resolve Lookman’s future in the next few days.

If further talks fail to produce the desired effect, Cristian Chivu’s men will turn to Gonzalez.

However, landing the former Fiorentina winger will likely require Inter to beat Atletico Madrid in the transfer race.
