Report – Inzaghi To Start Only Three First-Choice Players In Como Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash

Only three first-choice starters are expected in the Nerazzurri lineup for today’s Serie A clash between Como and Inter Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan take on Como this evening in their final Serie A match of the season.

It will certainly be an important match for Inter. They are still holding out hope that Napoli will drop points in their own final day clash with Cagliari.

The Nerazzurri won’t want to fail to capitalize on another slip-up by the league leaders the way they did last Sunday when they drew with Lazio.

Therefore, three points against Como will be important.

Nevertheless, there is an even more important match just around the corner.

At the end of May – in just over one week – Inter face off against Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League.

Only Three First-Choice Starters Expected In Como Vs Inter Milan XI

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to be very clear on what the priority is.

The Nerazzurri coach will not start a number of key players this evening against Como.

In fact, of the first-choice starters, only Yann Sommer, Federico Dimarco, and Hakan Calhanoglu will be in the starting eleven today.

Therefore, players like Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni will get a breather from the start.
