Midfielder Davide Frattesi reportedly does not want to leave Inter Milan this summer despite interest from Atletico Madrid.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.

Davide Frattesi currently seems to have one foot out the door at Inter Milan, and one foot in.

On the one hand, the 25-year-old had already asked to leave Inter in January. This was due to a lack of playing time.

Then, with the situation hardly improving over the second half of the campaign, an exit seemed almost inevitable.

On the other hand, Simone Inzaghi has left as Inter coach. Therefore, Frattesi could have a more prominent role in the team under new coach Cristian Chivu.

Davide Frattesi Doesn’t Want To Leave Inter Despite Atletico Madrid Interest

According to SportMediaset, Frattesi is not inclined to leave after the change in coach.

Whilst Inzaghi was at the helm, it had seemed impossible for Frattesi to stay. Particularly considering the reported spat between the duo during the Champions League final.

But Chivu’s arrival as totally changed things.

Mediaset confirm that Atletico Madrid are targeting Davide Frattesi.

However, according to the broadcaster, the player himself has no intention of going anywhere. He wants to stay and fight for his place.,
