According to reports in Italy, Juventus are not convinced by the idea of signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United and have put talks on stand-by.

The player has been on their radar for several weeks, since his loan experience at Chelsea was abandoned, with the Blues paying a fee to avoid buying him outright.

His contract with Manchester United only runs to the end of this season, forcing them to significantly drop the asking price to circa €15m plus bonuses to reach €17m.

Juventus suddenly unsure of Sancho

A deal had seemed imminent, but now Tuttomercatoweb transfer pundit Marco Conterio claims this evening that Juventus have put the brakes on finalising the transfer.

It is reported they are unsure Sancho is the right profile for the wide role, especially after they spent €32m to purchase Francisco Conceicao from FC Porto today.

Meanwhile, Sancho has been left out of the Manchester United squad for their pre-season tour, confirming the 25-year-old is not part of their plans.
