Premier League clubs Leeds and West Ham have enquired for Roma forward Artem Dovbyk, according to reports in Italy, as the Ukrainian striker could leave the Italian capital after just one year.

CalcioMercato are reporting that the two Premier League sides have registered an informal request for information on the former Girona man but that no official offer has yet been submitted to the Giallorossi.

Dovbyk signed for Roma last summer from Girona, for a reported fee of €38 million. In his debut season with the Serie A side, the striker scored 17 goals in 45 games in all competitions.

The reports also claim that if Dovbyk were to leave the club, the Giallorossi would be in the market for a replacement. Evan Ferguson was signed already on loan from Brighton but to play alongside Dovbyk, or another striker, rather than instead of.

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has been named as a potential replacement for the Ukrainian, whilst Lecce’s Krstovic remains an option as well.
