Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi is attracting a great deal of interest, but there are reports Bournemouth have made a formal offer worth €15m plus bonuses.
The Colombia international turns 27 later this month and impressed over the last two seasons at the Stadio Dall’Ara, culminating in a Champions League run and victory in the Coppa Italia.
He was purchased from KRC Genk in 2022 for €8m and his contract only runs to June 2026, so a sale is likely this summer for the right price.
According to Footmercato, the first official proposal has been tabled by Premier League side Bournemouth.
They are believed to be offering €15m plus performance-related bonuses on top of that.
It is not quite at the €22m asking price, but it does put them in pole position for the moment.
There is plenty of other interest, including within Serie A from Inter and Roma, plus abroad with Atletico Madrid and Manchester United mentioned.
