Inter Milan will reportedly part ways with Valentin Carboni or Francesco Pio Esposito after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, there’s only enough space for one prodigious striker in Cristian Chivu’s squad.

Therefore, one of the two young guns will say goodbye to the San Siro in the coming months.

But first, they’ll have a chance to prove their worth to the new Nerazzurri boss in the United States.

Indeed, both youngsters are part of Inter’s traveling squad for the Club World Cup.

Valentin Carboni or Francesco Pio Esposito Set to Leave Inter Milan After Club World Cup

Considered among Argentina’s finest talents, Valentin Carboni has yet to demonstrate his potential on the grand stage.

Unfortunately, a long-term knee injury cut his loan spell at Olympique Marseille short midway through 2024/25.

However, he has regained full fitness and will play second fiddle to Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram in the States.

As for Esposito, he enjoyed a superb breakout season at Spezia and has a contract at the San Siro until 2030.

Therefore, he seemingly boasts better chances of staying at Inter beyond the summer.
