Inter Milan are reportedly on the cusp of signing sought-after Olympique Marseille winger Luis Henrique.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italians have bridged the gap between their offer and the French club’s asking price.

Indeed, only €3 million stands between the two sides, with negotiations ongoing to reach a final agreement.

Meanwhile, Luis Henrique has already agreed to continue his career at San Siro, handing Inter a crucial boost.

However, the Nerazzurri will unlikely accelerate talks before the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Simone Inzaghi is keen to keep his side sharp and focused ahead of the Munich showpiece.

Therefore, Inter will aim to avoid all off-field distractions before the most significant game in the club’s recent history.

Yet, as soon as they return from Germany, they will likely step up their effort to close the deal with Marseille.

Inzaghi wants to have Henrique at his disposal for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

The Brazilian should be an alternative to Denzel Dumfries on the right wing in the Italian tactician’s trademark 3-5-2 set-up.
