Parma are holding out for a fee of Inter Milan and AC Milan linked defender Giovanni Leoni this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

It is certainly no secret that Giovanni Leoni is attracting transfer interest.

Parma only signed the teenage defender last summer. Reportedly they paid Sampdoria a fee of around €7 million.

However, that bet looks to have paid off in a big way for the Gialloblu.

Giovanni Leoni enjoyed an outstanding season with Parma. Particularly towards the end of the campaign.

The 18-year-old looked extremely comfortable at the heart of Parma’s defense as they avoided relegation under Cristian Chivu.

Parma Holding Out For €30M For Inter Milan & AC Milan Target Giovanni Leoni

Chivu has pushed to make Leoni a primary target for Inter in defense this summer transfer window.

However, at the same time, the Nerazzurri are not the only club with an interest in the 19-year-old’s signature.

Reportedly, Inter’s city rivals AC Milan are also very keen on signing Giovanni Leoni.

However, the Italy Under-21 international certainly will not come cheap.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Parma are looking to make a big profit on Leoni’s sale. They want to bring in more than four times what they paid for him just a year ago.

The Corriere anticipate that Parma want a fee of at least €30 million for Leoni,
