Parma are still interested in signing Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito, even if it’s not a part of the deal for Ange-Yoan Bonny.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Sebastiano Esposito is currently back at Inter Milan. The 22-year-old’s loan at Empoli ended, and the Tuscan side did not sign him on a permanent basis.

Esposito has travelled to the United States with the Nerazzurri squad for the Club World Cup.

And in fact, the Italy Under-21 international has started both of Inter’s group stage matches so far. He was in the starting eleven against Monterrey and Urawa Red Diamonds.

Esposito will remain part of the Inter squad for the rest of the tournament. However, after that he is likely to leave the Nerazzurri.

Parma Still Keen On Inter Milan Striker Sebastiano Esposito

Esposito’s name has come up in talks between Inter Milan and Parma.

The two clubs have been negotiating the transfer of striker Ange-Yoan Bonny to the Nerazzurri.

However, the Gialloblu have also shown an interest in taking Esposito the other way.

According to the Corriere, the 22-year-old will not be part of any player-plus-cash swap involving Bonny.

Nevertheless, reports the newspaper, Parma still have an interest in Esposito’s signature.

Moreover, the Corriere report, Inter value Esposito at around €7 million.
