Christian Pulisic negotiations with Milan for a new contract have stalled amid reports his agent is shopping the USMNT star to clubs in Italy and abroad.

The 26-year-old has found the form of his life at San Siro since the €20.8m plus bonuses transfer from Chelsea in the summer of 2023.

He scored 17 goals with 12 assists in 49 competitive games this season, one of the few high points in a misfiring Milan team.

Pulisic not convinced by Milan project

According to Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, Pulisic had been on the verge of agreeing a new contract when he suddenly put on the brakes.

The issue is not financial, but rather trying to understand what direction the club is going in, seeing as they are working on bringing in a new coach and director of sport.

Milan also failed to qualify for Europe, so many players are expected to move on this summer.

The transfer experts claim that Pulisic’s agent has been shopping him around to various different clubs, offering him to sides both within Italy and abroad to see what the other options are.

His current contract runs to June 2027 and Milan have an option to extend by one more year.
