Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal reportedly plot an audacious summer swoop for Inter Milan stalwart Nicolo Barella.

Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Saudis could make a new attempt to sign the diminutive midfielder in the coming months.

In addition to pursuing a deal for Simone Inzaghi, Al-Hilal could try to lure another key piece away from San Siro.

Indeed, Barella has been an instrumental midfield figure since joining the Nerazzurri from Cagliari in 2019.

Moreover, his influence has steadily grown over the years, making him one of the fan favorites.

Despite his household status at Inter, Al-Hilal could test the club’s resolve with a mega-money offer.

Taking Nicolo Barella away from Inter won’t be a simple task.

For starters, his contract at San Siro expires in 2029.

However, the lure of the petrodollars has proved too tempting for many senior stars in recent years.

As such, Inter cannot rest easy, even though Barella’s loyalty has never been a subject of discussion.
