Denzel Dumfries, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Davide Frattesi could make their debuts at the Club World Cup against River Plate.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that all three of the Inter Milan trio are ready to return to the pitch for the decisive group stage clash.
Inter Milan are heading into their final match of the Club World Cup group stage.
The Nerazzurri have already drawn with Mexican side Monterrey. Then, they got a dramatic late win over Japanese team Urawa Red Diamonds.
Early Thursday morning (Wednesday evening local time), Inter take on Argentine giants River Plate.

And that match will be decisive for both Inter and River.
Whilst Urawa Reds are already mathematically eliminated from the tournament, all of Inter, River, and Monterrey could progress.
Inter Milan have been without a number of players due to injury in their first couple matches at the Club World Cup.
Wingback Denzel Dumfries, midfielders Hakan Calhanoglu, Piotr Zielinski, and Davide Frattesi, and defender Yann Bisseck have been out against both Monterrey and Urawa Reds.
Meanwhile, striker Marcus Thuram and defender Benjamin Pavard pulled out of the squad to face Urawa Reds.
However, reports Tuttosport, there should be a few returns against River Plate.
The newspaper anticipate that Dumfries is now back to full fitness. Therefore, there is every chance of seeing the 29-year-old against River.
Similarly, midfielders Calhanoglu and Frattesi could also be on the pitch against River.
On the other hand, reports Tuttosport, it is unlikely that Inter will risk returns for France international duo Thuram and Pavard.
Then, the likes of Bisseck and Zielinski won’t feature until the knockout rounds, should Inter make it that far.
