Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Bournemouth attacker Justin Kluivert during the summer transfer window.

According to CaughtOffside, they are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old, and they could look to make a move for him in the summer. Clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool are keen on the Netherlands International as well.

Justin Kluivert would be a quality addition

He had an impressive season with the Cherries, scoring 13 goals in all competitions. Kluivert managed to pick up eight assists along the way as well. There is no doubt that he has the quality to succeed at Tottenham, and he could be a key player for them.

He can slot into the attacking midfield role as well as in the wide areas. His versatility will be a bonus for Tottenham if they can get the deal done.

The player is reportedly valued at around €50-55 million. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are willing to pay that kind of money for the player. He has been described as an ‘amazing’ player by Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola.

Sky Sports reveal Ajax’s Jorrel Hato demands, and how much Chelsea are prepared to pay

Chelsea are ready to pay £44m for Ajax star Jorrel Hato, but the Dutch giants are said to want £52m according to Sky Sports. The Blues have been busy this summer and have already signed Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, with more new faces expected to follow. Chelsea are currently working on deals for Dutch duo Hato and Xavi Simons, with both moves thought to be progressing well. Chelsea ready to pay £44m for Jorrel Hato Chelsea have strengthened in key areas of the squad, but there’s one area which desperately needs addressing, and that’s a back-up for Marc Cucurella at left back. Cucurella is currently the only left back in the squad, and Chelsea would have a huge problem if he ever got injured. However, the Blues have identified Ajax teenager Hato as the player they want to bring in, with a deal believed to be advancing. Chelsea are said to have agreed personal terms with Hato, and the 19-year-old can play both at left back and centre back. The Blues reportedly had a bid rejected for the Dutch international, with Hato thought to have informed Ajax he wants to leave for Chelsea. Sky Sports have provided an update on the situation and have reported Chelsea are prepared to pay £44m, but Ajax are holding out for £52m. Despite his age Hato has already played over 100 times for Ajax, including in European competition, and is a full Dutch international. Xavi Simons deal progressing Hato isn’t the only deal Chelsea are working on, and they are also in negotiations with Leipzig over a move for Simons. Talks are reportedly at an advanced stage between the clubs, and Leipzig are thought to want a total package of around £60m. Simons wants to join Chelsea, and the 22-year-old can play both on the left and as a number ten making him a great fit for Enzo Maresca’s system.

Yankees manager provides major update on Aaron Judge's injury

New York Yankees star Aaron Judge missed Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with an elbow injury, and the slugger is now headed to the injured list. The Yankees fell 9-4 to the Phillies on Saturday at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y., which marked their third consecutive loss. Judge played in Friday night's 12-5 loss to Philadelphia, but Aaron Boone announced before Saturday's game that Judge was dealing with an "elbow issue" and would sit out. Following his team's latest loss, Boone shared some new information about Judge's injury. Judge has been diagnosed with a flexor strain, but the Yankees believe he can return in less than two weeks. When Judge returns to the lineup, Boone said it will initially be as a designated hitter. Judge is having an outstanding season. He entered Saturday batting .342, which is the best mark in baseball. The reigning American League MVP has 37 home runs, 85 RBI and a 1.160 OPS. The Yankees are now six games behind the AL East-leading Toronto Blue Jays and fighting to remain atop the wild-card race. It goes without saying that they are hopeful Judge will be able to return as soon as possible.

Important trade stalls as Maple Leafs dangle bottom-six forward

The Toronto Maple Leafs are still looking for a solution to their bottom-six surplus, and veteran forward Calle Jarnkrok remains at the center of trade discussions. However, according to The Fourth Period, trade talks surrounding the 33-year-old winger have failed to gain momentum. They write: “He has a $2.1M cap hit and owns a 10-team no-trade list. The market hasn’t been vibrant, to this point, but the Leafs will continue to dangle him.” Why can’t the Maple Leafs find a taker for Jarnkrok? Jarnkrok has quietly been on the trade block for much of the offseason, but general manager Brad Treliving has yet to find a taker. After adding several depth forwards this summer, the Leafs now face a crowded bottom six — and Jarnkrok’s age, injury history and $2.1M cap hit through 2025–26 aren’t helping his value. Since joining Toronto, Jarnkrok has appeared in only 71 games over two seasons, scoring a modest 28 points. While his defensive versatility and penalty-killing ability are assets, his declining offensive production and durability concerns have made teams wary. With training camp approaching, the Maple Leafs may be forced to keep Jarnkrok on the roster — or retain salary in a deal — if they want to create space and flexibility. Dropping his cap hit down to just over $1M would open up the market a little. Until then, the Swedish forward remains a trade candidate in limbo. This isn’t great news as moving Jarnkrok from the roster is an important item on the team’s to-do list. Treliving would like more cap space, and with Jarnkrok and David Kampf both still on the roster, it hampers the GM’s ability to do other things.

Richard Childress addresses idea of suspension for Austin Hill

Richard Childress is standing by his driver after a controversial move in the closing laps of Saturday's Pennzoil 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Austin Hill, driver of the No. 21 Chevy for Richard Childress Racing, appeared to hook Aric Almirola on Lap 91 after Almirola had gotten Hill loose in the previous corner. In recent years, NASCAR has set a precedent that right-hooking a fellow driver at speed is grounds for a suspension, though their failure to do so with Austin Cindric at COTA in March or with Austin Dillon at Richmond in August 2024 drew scrutiny. Unsurprisingly, Childress doesn't think Hill should have to sit out the Aug. 2 race at Iowa Speedway. "Hell no," Childress said when asked if he believed Hill should have to sit for a week. "They didn't do a damn thing to the 2 car (Cindric) when he wrecked Ty (Dillon, Childress' grandson) and admitted to it, drove him in the right-rear and wrecked him at COTA. It's who you are. We're a blue-collar team, they (NASCAR) give us trouble all the time." Hill was given a five-lap penalty for reckless driving and finished the race in 34th.
