Report: Tottenham keen on mercurial German after impressive displays in the U21 Euros

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the talented young German striker Nelson Weiper from Mainz.

According to football transfers, Arsenal are keen on the 20-year-old attacker as well. Weiper was outstanding for Germany during the under 21 Euros, and he managed to score four goals in the tournament. He helped his country reach the final of the competition.

Nelson Weiper is a player in demand

His performances have attracted the attention of Premier League clubs, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to make a move for him. He is valued at €14 million, and Tottenham certainly have the resources to afford him. He could prove to be a solid long-term investment for the future, and the player could justify the outlay in the long run.

Weiper could fancy joining Spurs
