Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace at the end of the season.

The player has a contract with the London club until 2027, but he is expected to be on the move this summer. According to Football Insider, Tottenham are plotting a low-ball offer to sign the player this summer.

Tottenham weighing up a low-ball offer

Crystal Palace value him at £68 million, but Tottenham have no intention of paying that kind of money for him. It remains to be seen whether they can sign him for a knockdown price in the summer. The 26-year-old has been outstanding for Palace this season, and he has 12 goals and 11 assists in all competitions. He could prove to be an exceptional acquisition for Tottenham.

Although he has mostly operated on the left-hand side of the pitch this season, he is capable of operating centrally as well. He will add goals and creativity to the Tottenham attack. He will help open up opportunities for his teammates with his passing, trickery and link-up play. He is also capable of scoring goals consistently.

Tottenham need Eberechi Eze

Tottenham need more depth in the attacking unit, and the 26-year-old would be the ideal acquisition for them. He is at the peak of his powers and could transform them going forward.

If they can sign in for a reasonable amount of money, the transfer could look like a masterstroke in the long term.

Tottenham will know all about his qualities after the way he terrorised them earlier this season. The 26-year-old scored a brace against them last Sunday, and he looked unplayable at times. He was the best player on the pitch when Tottenham and Crystal Palace met earlier this season in October as well.

There is no doubt that he is good enough to play for the biggest clubs in the country, and moving to Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for him.
