Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the RB Salzburg attacker Dorgeles Nene during the summer transfer window, and they will face competition from bitter rivals Arsenal.

The 22-year-old Mali International has had an impressive season with the Austrian club, scoring 15 goals in all competitions. He picked up nine assists as well.

He could prove to be an excellent addition for Tottenham. They need more quality and depth on the flanks, and the 22-year-old is capable of operating on either side of a front three. He can operate centrally as well. His versatility will be an added bonus.

Player open to summer exit

The opportunity to join the Premier League will be quite exciting for the player. He has revealed that he is not closing any doors and he will let his agent deal with any potential interest.

He said: “I’m coming off an interesting season, and that’s bound to attract interest from other clubs. But for now, I’m staying focused on competing with my club since I’m still under contract. So I’m letting my agents take care of my contract situation, but I’m not closing any doors.”

Arsenal keen on Dorgeles Nene

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on his situation as well. The report from Africa Foot claims that the 22-year-old is a player in demand, and multiple clubs are monitoring his situation. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham need more attacking options at their disposal. The 22-year-old could slot into multiple attacking roles, and he will add goals and creativity to the side going forward.

Both clubs will be able to offer him Champions League football, and he would be able to compete at a higher level if he joins either of them. Regular football in the Premier League could bring out the best in him and help him fulfil his potential.

Tottenham and Arsenal are among the biggest clubs in England, and they have done well to groom talented young players over the years. They could play a key role in his development in future.
