Report – Two Inter Milan Stars In Doubt For Serie A Final-Day Game Vs Como

Inter Milan stars Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi face a race against time to make the squad for Friday’s trip to Como.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, their availability for the Serie A season finale ‘hangs in the balance.’

Lautaro Martinez has been out of action since playing through pain in the return leg of Inter’s Champions League semi-final win against Barcelona.

Indeed, the Argentine has since skipped both Serie A games against Torino and Lazio.

The same goes for Davide Frattesi, who clinched Nerazzurri’s crucial second-leg victory.

Marcus Thuram and Mehdi Taremi have struggled in El Toro’s absence, highlighting the importance of his swift return.

Though he trained separately from the group in the past two days, Lautaro may miss out on Friday’s fixture.

Indeed, Simone Inzaghi is unwilling to risk his talisman ahead of the Champions League final.

Likewise, Frattesi could make the matchday squad only if Inzaghi says so, but the 49-year-old won’t decide until tomorrow.

On the other hand, Benjamin Pavard should travel to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia with the rest of the team.
