One of Chelsea’s returning injured players had to make some pretty drastic changes in order to prevent further injuries occurring in the future.
Chelsea have been truly hit with big injuries of late, and it’s caused them to have around 10 first team players out injured on average for every game this season, that is unprecedented.
But some of them are starting to filter back in now with the likes of both Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka back in first team training.
But Blues fans will know that doesn’t mean anything, with the amount of setbacks they have witnessed with players who had come back then getting injured again.
Chukwuemeka was one of those recently, and some big changes have been made for him to return without issues now.
According to Matt Law of The Telegraph speaking to the London is Blue Podcast this week, Chukwuemeka’s injury was a lot worse than what people first thought. He’s had to change his running style and mechanics in terms of how he moves his body to prevent future injuries.
