Inter Milan still have a reported €25 million left in their budget for the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri did not deplete all their funds in the summer and will return to the market in the winter for reinforcements, the Corriere dello Sport claim, via FcInter1908.

Inter’s change in transfer strategy is reportedly responsible for their improved financial position.

With the exception of Manuel Akanji, the Nerazzurri focused largely on signing younger players in the summer.

Inter did not spend more than €23 million on a single player in the transfer window and all join the club on less wages than established and experienced stars.

Inter Milan Have Cash To Spare But Wait On Results To Decide Next Steps in Transfer Window

The Corriere claim that the Inter management will first wait to see how the team performs on the pitch.

Marotta, Ausilio and Baccin will analyse Chivu’s squad throughout the coming months.

The trio will work with the coach to assess potential reinforcements in January.

After missing out on marquee deals for Lookman and Kone, Inter may seek to add one or two more players.
