PSG’s 1-1 draw is the latest match that shows the lack of a superstar player and someone who can generate goals—even with Messi and Neymar gone, last season, they still had Mbappé, and Marquinhos stated that the Frenchman’s departure continues to linger.

“Last year, we had a great No. 9,” Marquinhos said (h/t Le10Sport). “When a player like that leaves, people will focus a lot on that. Today, it’s a different idea of the game. Our team has changed the characteristics of our play. It’s important to convert chances.

“We have great players who can score goals and have shown that they can do it. Today, there was a lack of calm in front of the goal. That’s something we need to work on in our minds during training.”
