River Plate President Shuts Down Transfer Speculation About Inter Milan Target Wanted By Half Of Europe: 'No Rush'

River Plate president Jorge Brito addressed transfer rumors surrounding Inter Milan target Franco Mastantuono.

Speaking to ESPN via FCInterNews, Brito revealed the club’s ambition to keep hold of their prized asset.

Furthermore, he insisted the player is in no rush to leave the Millionaires in the summer despite growing interest from Europe’s top clubs.

Widely considered among the world’s elite talents, Franco Mastantuono is a player whose skills are in high demand.

An international bidding war is already raging, with Inter facing several continental heavyweights in this fierce race.

Indeed, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have joined AC Milan and the Nerazzurri in the hunt for Mastantuono.

However, River Plate will try to fend off these advances as they hope to keep their coveted youngster at Estadio Mas Monumental.

Mastantuono signed a new contract last year, pledging his future to his boyhood club until December 2026.

“There’s no urgency from his side and neither from River’s.

“The best course of action while something is in progress is to let it evolve naturally without interfering.

“We must be careful not to put more pressure on him than what he already faces.”

Despite Inter’s financial inferiority to PSG and Man City, they can always rely on Javier Zanetti to give them the edge.

Indeed, the club vice-president has strong connections in his home country and can use them to tip the scales in Inter’s favor.

Meanwhile, Mastantuono stays calm, knowing his transfer to Europe will come sooner rather than later.
