Hellas Verona has reached an agreement with Roma over Tommaso Baldanzi’s loan move, and in the coming hours, the Gialloblu will finalise the details regarding the Italian’s wages.
Baldanzi is set to join Verona on loan from Roma as the two clubs have reached an agreement over an initial loan deal with an option to buy between €7m and €8m.
Verona’s American owners have given the green light to the transfer, and in the coming hours, the final details regarding the player’s wages will be finalised.
Baldanzi is set to start from scratch after a poor spell at Roma, a team that he joined in January 2024 from Empoli for circa €11m.
The 22-year-old only scored two goals and provided two assists in 59 appearances across all competitions with the Giallorossi.
Roma beat Bologna 1-0 in their Serie A debut last week, a game in which Baldanzi was an unused substitute. The Giallorossi will visit Pisa tonight in Serie A Round 2.
