Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey is expected in Rome tomorrow to complete the final details of his move from the Premier League side to Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma.

According to what has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, Bailey is due to arrive in the Italian capital on Monday to sign the final paperwork in the proposed deal.

The move is reportedly set to consist of an initial loan, with a €3 million fee, including an option-to-buy set at €20 million.

The Jamaican winger was not present in the Villa team for their 0-0 opening day draw with Newcastle United, adding more fuel to the fire that he could be heading to Roma.

Now, the deal looks all-but complete and we can anticipate an announcement to come within the week; the Giallorossi striving to have the former Bayer Leverkusen forward available for their first match of the Serie A campaign against Bologna on Saturday.
